We have over 25 years of Coaching experience on 3 Continents in numerous roles from u6's to Professional Sport. Worked in Training & Development in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical Industries. Kevin has had Sports Coaching in Club roles coaching in Field & Court Sports as well as Boxing. Full-Time & Part-Time Professional roles across amateur, Semi-Professional & Professional Sport. Our aim for TMC Performance Coaching is to bring Health & Performance to athletes and working professionals as well as to ordinary people to enjoy healthier lives using Applied Health & Sports Science to underpin our approach. We aim to help raise the standard of private coaching & training, public awareness and sports participation in Cork and Ireland over time. We believe continuous education in all areas are essential both formal and non formal. I gained a Higher Dip. in Strength & Conditioning Science, completed my Personal Training qualifications, I am accredited by ASCA (formerly), ISSA, Precision Nutrition and International Youth Conditioning Organisation. I obtained qualifications in Industrial Training & Development and also worked in Medical Device & Pharma industries. I am continually upskilling and have Certificates specific to neuroscience of decisions, neuroscience of training, specific Olympic Weightlifting and Conditioning courses completed and continue to discover many short term courses that will make me a more rounded person and practitioner. I consider myself a Generalist as opposed to a specialist. |

I see myself as a facilitator of progress and results in your health, how you look and feel or how you perform in your chosen sport or event. I am here to assist you and hold your hand while you work hard to achieve your fitness goals via educated choices in nutrition, efficient workouts performed safely based on science and not on the latest fitness trend.
I have been there: trying to achieve more than anybody around me or out-perform my yesterday self every day and week while chasing my own tale and trying to balance profession, business, family and friends. Sooner or later everybody reaches their limits and burnout is unavoidable if you realise it too late. My aim is to help you find that balance and prevent falling off the wagon. I find that all my clients are trying to achieve is to feel good in their skin, be able to overcome obstacles in their life and become an inspiration for their children. Their dedication and hard work is what makes my job rewarding and when they reap the benefits of all their ward work in form of a successful body transformation or a sports performance, that wins all my admiration and motivates me to wanting to help more people. Training takes place in my private studio to take you away from the loud and disruptive commercial gyms. This helps you focus on the only thing that matters: your training regime. Depending on your goals, sessions can also take place outdoors or at your club. My coaching method is based on strength and conditioning and provides science based, goal oriented individually designed workouts and exercise programs that will ensure you work hard for your goals with injury prevention principles, your fitness levels, flexiblity and mobility skills in mind. |
